That led to head coach Becky Hammon labeled her squad as \"soft\" , hinting that there may be underlying mental challenges affecting the Aces' performance. The Storm are my pick for an early-season sleeper after the first nine games! Seattle has a record of 5-4, with their dynamic trio of guard Skylar Diggins along with forwards Nneka Ogwumike and Gabby Williams performing exceptionally well at the start of the season.

I do have concerns regarding the Storm's depth, or rather, the lack of it. Currently relying on a seven-player rotation, the last two players are logging an average of 11.6 (Zia Cooke) and 9.2 (Dominique Malonga) minutes on the court. Should any of the Storm’s star players get injured, it could pose a significant issue.

However, for the moment, the Storm's roster is healthy. They will need the top teams to face challenges, whether through injuries or a dip in form. If fortune favors them, Seattle's experienced players could take advantage when opportunities arise, and their championship odds of +1800 present a fantastic opportunity.
